Rome is known for its mouthwatering gelato, and what better way to enjoy it than by making your own? I attended a delightful gelato-making class with Verde Pistacchio and got hands-on experience crafting the perfect scoop. From picking ingredients to churning out creamy goodness, this class was a sweet highlight of my trip. Plus, you get to eat as much gelato as you want—what’s not to love?
4. Step Into History at the Colosseum
The Colosseum is one of Rome’s most iconic landmarks, and standing in its massive amphitheater gave me chills. Walking through its ancient arches, I imagined the roar of the crowds and the fierce battles that once took place here. The grandeur and history of the Colosseum make it a must-visit attraction. Pro tip: go early in the morning to beat the crowds and get stunning photos.
5. Make a Wish at the Trevi Fountain
No visit to Rome is complete without tossing a coin into the Fontana di Trevi. Legend has it that throwing a coin over your left shoulder ensures you’ll return to Rome one day.
